We are please to have released the new Miles for Hope website. Thanks to the hard work of our sponsor TG WebMedia, we were able to release the new site just im time. We have some minor adjustments and enhancements to make, but the core is up and working.
There are NUMEROUS new features in this community that we created. In order to gain access to all areas, you must REGISTER for the website. This is done to protect the site from spam and junk posts.

Brain Tumor Talk Radio Show |

Miles for Hope’s own Bob Gibbs will be hosting, what will become, a weekly talk radio show. This show was designed to fill a critical gap in bringing both awareness and support to a new platform. This show will feature weekly guests who will both inform and highlight information, new technology, and helpful hints from brain tumor survivors.
Guest for June 24, 2009 - Carolyn Katzin, Certified Nutrition Specialist, who specialiszes in cancer nutrition. Carolyn just recently participated in the UCLA Brain Tumor Conference.

Two UCLA Neurosurgeons Showcase in Documentary Released for National Brain Tumor Awareness Month |

Two of UCLA’s neurosurgeons will be featured in the Nation’s first official Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Dr. Linda Liau, Professor of neurosurgery and Dr. John Frazee, a cutting edge neurosurgeon will show their skills as they perform surgery to save not only a father, but his thirteen year old stepson also who was also diagnosed with a brain tumor. Does lightning strike twice in the same spot? In this case it does as Bob Gibbs and his stepson Christopher were both diagnosed with brain tumors, in less than one year of each other.
